20/20 leadership programme – applications for cohort 5 are now open

It is with great delight that Frimley Academy launches the application process for places on its 5th cohort of the Frimley ICS 20/20 Programme.

Who is it for

The academy invites applications from across the length and breadth of our Frimley Health and Care Integrated Care System of dedicated health and care, public services, local government, education, community and voluntary sector professionals to join us on our next programme starting in February 2022.

How it works

This fantastic opportunity, fully funded by Frimley Academy, will ensure successful applicants become part of a diverse group of 45 fellows from across clinical and non-clinical health social care and public health systems to help redesign and lead changes for a better future within the Frimley ICS.

The fellows will be expected to work together for seven full days ((and 2x 2hr sessions) over the next 8 months (February to October 2022) to come up with new visions and to take on responsibility for delivering them.

Fellows will have the space to reflect, freedom to act and think clearly and creatively. The 20/20 cohort will be free to find innovative ways of working and will be supported by other senior managers across the system to find new ideas that really work for the 21st Century.

Applying to the programme

Please take a look at the documents below and complete them as appropriate (more information about the backfill policy is within the GPs self-employed section below). 

GPs (Self-employed)

A unique element of this programme is that it will provide backfill for participants; this will be fully funded by the programme.

Backfilling means that organisations will be able to release clinicians onto the programme with the resources in place that allows for continued patient care.  We hope this will make a real difference to organisations in being able to release key clinical staff to attend the programme.

For those independent practitioners, locum costs will be covered, as per the 20/20 Backfill Policy.

A backfill policy is available in the ‘Applying to the programme section’ above, and will be sent upon successful appointment to the programme.

Other colleagues from sectors outside of Health and Care are very welcome to apply…

Employees of organisations are expected to obtain full sponsorship for potential fellows as part of the commitment to the programme.
