FREE ReSPECT training for Care Home and Community staff

ReSPECT stands for ‘Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment’ and it involves people creating personalised recommendation for their clinical care in emergency situations where they are not able to take decisions or express their wishes.

Frimley Health and Care is inviting all care home and community staff that are employed within East Berkshire, Surrey Heath or North East Hampshire and Farnham to receive free online training on ReSPECT.

These sessions are under an hour and a facilitated so you will have an opportunity to ask questions. There are a number of different training sessions being made available through three different organisations:

Below is an outline of what each level will cover and who it’s aimed at. Please check with your line manager to ensure you are signed up for the right level.

Who is it for? Admin & reception teams.
Health & Social Care Assistants.
Unregistered staff.
Registered staff who do not require further training at this stage.
Registered health & social care staff and all Allied Health Professionals GPs/Consultants and other staff on a named basis, as identified by individual
