In order to ensure the continued development and support of those working at or towards an Advancing Clinical Level the Frimley Training Hub is coordinating Advancing Clinical Practice (ACP) Developmental groups.
The Development Groups will contribute to your own CPD, provide an opportunity to network and provide peer support. The Development Groups have been designed to meet the expectations of the HEE Multi-professional Framework for ACP (2017) and are therefore open to all clinicians working at or towards this level.
“Professionals working at a level of advanced clinical practice have a responsibility for their on-going continuing professional development. Employers need to ensure there are opportunities for continuing professional development to ensure patient safety, the appropriate ongoing development and maintenance of capability.” The Frimley TH therefore promotes your attendance at these groups to help you and your employer meet this responsibility.
Who should attend the ACP Development Groups?
Those working at an advanced level, starting the MSc ACP programme, extended role practitioners looking to become ACPs and Leaders in their field of advanced practice.
