Clinical supervision supervisor training
This training is for Nurses & Allied Health Professionals who would like to become clinical supervision supervisors – it will enable them to facilitate clinical supervision reflective learning sessions.
Please note this training is not intended for colleagues wishing to sign off clinical competency.
- Have an increased knowledge and understanding of Clinical Supervision, linking theory to practice
- Differentiate between Clinical Supervision and line/performance management and between Clinical Supervision and teaching
- Negotiate Clinical Supervision contracts and structure processes accordingly, taking in to account individual learning styles
- Develop reflective interpersonal and supervisory skills such as: reflective practice; giving guidance, joint problem solving, and offering feedback to enable the development of effective supervisory relationships.
This training is being held online on the 12th May 9.00-12.30 and 19th May 13.00-16.30 – both sessions need to be attended.
