Fundamentals Of Change and Improvement Programme.
Session 2: Please note you must attend session 1.
The Fundamentals of Change and Improvement is a short, practical programme held over two sessions, providing an in-depth introduction to Quality Improvement for those in general practices and PCNs.
Participants will be shown step-by step how to use improvement tools and techniques which can be used to tackle a range of challenges such as improving the recall process, reducing the amount of correspondence handled by GPs and increasing the uptake of online consultations. Applicants must attend both sessions and bring a small, specific problem or issue – a process or system – to work on actively (asked for at booking stage).
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to
- Describe the components needed for successful change in the context of their chosen problem/issue
- Map out a process
- Develop an aim and measurement plan
- Generate and prioritise ideas and develop a plan to test the ideas.
Places are offered on a first come, first served basis, to those eligible who fulfil the application requirements – 16 places are available per cohort. Applications may close early if the cohort is oversubscribed. Please complete all questions.
