In 2019 the Government as part of their spending review made CPD funding available for nurses and a selection of Allied Health Professionals  working in primary care.

Nurses, Midwives, and Nurse Associates must complete 35 hours of CPD in the 3 years since their registration was last renewed relevant to their own scope of practice. Learning methods can vary and CPD can be achieved by online learning, course attendance or independent learning.

Across all the Frimley practices a training needs analysis (TNA) was conducted and analysed in October and the Frimley Training Hub will be soon be advertising  examples of CPD in our weekly newsletter which have  been requested by you as part of your individual TNA.

This could be paid for courses but could also be signposting to free resources such as e-learning for health, or online webinars.

To help you identify examples of CPD we will be advertising in the newsletter using the below Frimley Training Hub CPD logo, so please look out for this in the coming weeks. To ensure maximum reach to our nurse and AHP colleagues please make sure you and all your practice colleagues are signed up to the Frimley Training Hub newsletter.
