Reception and non-clinical staff can benefit from ‘Effective patient encounters’ sessions across October 2021 to January 2022 on behalf of the Practice Managers Association and Frimley Training Hub.
These sessions will help reception staff and other non-clinical staff as the first point of contact, to actively triage and signpost patients to the most effective clinician or other service under direction of the clinical team.
There are numerous drivers for this patient centred approach and outcomes will include a more streamlined GP workload, improving efficiencies in terms of access to services and patient satisfaction.
