Frimley ICS, & Frimley Training Hub working with Rotherham Respiratory is delighted to be able to offer training and development in performing and interpreting spirometry.

We are conscious that there has been a pause in providing diagnostic spirometry since the start of the pandemic, and now that it is safe to do so, following the attached ARTP and PCRS guidance, clinicians may be a little rusty and out of practice in quality assured  diagnostic spirometry performance and interpretation.

Rotherham Respiratory is an ARTP recommended provider and each course will act as preparation for you to join the ARTP register either as a performer, interpreter or both.

Currently ARTP are experiencing a large back log in getting practitioners certified and registered but by completing a session you will be ready to go when they are!

The 4 different courses are delivered as online interactive webinars and are either 7.5 hours of study or 15 hours of study depending on the chosen course.

Practices are being encouraged to work at PCN level to provide diagnostic services so please consider this when completing the form, and have conversations with colleagues.

It is up to you to pick the most suitable  session for you and your level of expertise as well as how your practice and PCN are planning their spirometry provision.

The 4 course options are:

  1. Spirometry: Clinical Interpretation Course (online)
